CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

You must be at least 13 years old and complete a waiver to participate in any of the classes.  The exception is the Zumba Kids class.

ZUMBA® Are you ready to party yourself into shape? Forget the workout, just lose yourself in the music and find yourself at the original dance-fitness party.  Zumba® classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and International beats.  Before you know it, you’ll be getting fit and your energy levels will be soaring! It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating.

ZUMBA® TONING  When it comes to body sculpting, Zumba® Toning raises the bar (or rather, the toning stick).  Learn how to use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and tone all the target zones, including arms, abs, and thighs.  Zumba® Toning is the perfect way to sculpt your body naturally while having a total blast.

ZUMBA SENTAO™ Six legs work you harder than two.  By transforming your chair into a sizzling dance partner, the explosive Zumba Sentao™ program strengthens your core, torches calories and sculpts muscle.  Revolutionize your cardio workout with targeted resistance training and exotic world rhythms in red-hot, never-before-seen ways. (This class is offered periodically as a Friday session at 6:30 p.m.)

ZUMBA® KIDS All we need is a beat.  The Zumba® Kids program is the ultimate dance-fitness party for young Zumba fans, where they can play it loud and rock with friends to their own rules!  This program features age-appropriate music and moves that get kids moving to the beat.  It’s all about feeling fearless on the dance floor, reinforcing the idea that it’s okay to just be yourself and dance like no one is watching.  (This special class is offered periodically on a Saturday afternoon and is open to families and their children ages 5 and up)

R.I.P.P.E.D  Experience this total body “plateau proof fitness formula” workout, utilizing resistance and cardio training, which masterfully combines Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance and Diet components of R.I.P.P.E.D to help you attain and maintain your physique in ways that are fun, safe, doable and extremely effective.  We have a limited amount of 3 and 5 pound weights, so feel to bring your own if you use heavier weights.

TABATAS & TOYS Change up your strength training routine with a challenging total body resistance workout using “fitness toys” such as resistance bands and gliding discs.  We do 8 rounds of 4 minutes where we exercise for 20 seconds and rest for 10 seconds.

MASH UP DANCE FITNESS  Is a high velocity dance fitness cardio workout that mashes up dance hall, reggae and a whole lot of soca with fat blasting toning defining moves.  Come “Wuk it out”.

PILOXING  Is a non-stop cardio fusion of Pilates, boxing and dance.  The program uniquely blends the power, speed, and agility of boxing with the targeted sculpting and flexibility of Pilates along with exhilarating dance moves.

POUND  Is the world’s first cardio jam session inspired by the infectious, energizing and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums using Ripstix, lightly-weighted drumsticks.
